  • Tailoring formal wear* to fit your body and your style (ex: suits & dresses for wedding parties, cocktail dresses, prom dresses, etc.)
  • Replacing/adding buttons, snaps, hooks & eyes, elastic, Velcro®, etc.
  • Replacing/repairing broken zippers, buckles, and other hardware
  • Patching/repairing holes in garments, sports team uniforms, socks, etc.
  • Sewing on patches, decorative embellishments or merit badges
In the age of fast fashion, taking pride in and caring for your clothes is so important. I am passionate about mending clothes to extend their life. Visible mending is a unique way to honor the story of your garments. Kids clothes work especially hard, and a using a fun fabric to patch a ripped knee adds so much character and life to a pair of pants. Give new life to old garments by changing a hemline, reshaping the overall fit, or even adding something new to create visual interest, is always a fun challenge! Bring us your old garments that you are thinking of getting rid of and we can collaborate!
